In the year of 2025, a virus outbreak occurs that quickly affected the human race and turns humans into mindless monsters called Outbreakers. However, in 2037, scientists create a cure for this virus and use former military pilots to spread it across the world. Over 95% of the population dies, although all the Outbreakers die in the process. Aiden McCallen was one of the pilots who now returns to America to find his lost son and wife. Only 20,000 people remain in America, and it's devoid of any sort of government or protective forces. Most of the people are a part of gangs that are trying to take over America and create their own government. It's now a battlefield of gangs and bodies, and Aiden must try and find his family while saving America from dipping into insanity.

The small fight slowly grew into a war that split the five countries into four. While the fifth country became a refugee camp that called "Gemini", and just like the brothers the four countries hated each other. As time passed the brothers then died from old age. In the year 2056, the brothers' war still remains. A group of 4 people must ban together to prevent an impending apocalypse from destroying everyone in. The leader of the group is an 18-year-old teenager named, John Spencer. with a mind filled with vengeful thoughts, he faces what this war-torn world has to offer him.

As a vampire, death is no stranger, but given the lack of newly deads to choose from after the post-Flu population drop, avoiding starvation has become a struggle. He survives by sleeping through his days, but the arrival of a past enemy and a less-than-wise decision to help a murderer force him back onto the road. Unfortunately, he quickly discovers that the new world does not follow the same logic that it did before.
