The Shadow of the Unseen

​The story begins in the world of Aerthos, where a young man named Orion lives a double life. By day, he is a clumsy scavenger, but by night, he becomes Aura, the silent and powerful leader of the Shadow Vanguard, a secret group fighting against a creeping corruption. They believe the noble Knights of the Silver Blade are being controlled by a dark force from a realm called the Void.
​The Vanguard's mission becomes urgent when they discover the Void's influence is a physical entity, controlled by the corrupted Knight Captain. They soon uncover that the Captain is a puppet for Sir Gareth, a fallen hero known as the Voidbringer, who seeks to consume the world to bring about a twisted kind of "peace."
​Orion's two lives collide when he must protect his home village, Willow Creek, from being sacrificed in a ritual without revealing his powers. He succeeds but is left feeling isolated and burdened by his secrets.
​After the Voidbringer's defeat, a new and deadlier threat emerges: the Umbral Scourge, a purely destructive force from the Void. In a desperate fight, Orion's shadow power merges with the magic of the Heartwood, creating a bright, glowing crack in his shadow. This grants him a new power, the Echo, which controls the energy of life.
​The final chapters revolve around Valerius, a loyal follower of Sir Gareth, who seeks to use Orion's new Echo power to gain control of the Heartwood and, by extension, the entire world. Orion and his team form a new alliance with the Sylvan Elves, including new allies Corvin and Lyra. They work together to overcome Valerius's mental and physical attacks, culminating in a final battle where Orion uses his Echo power to sever Valerius's connection to the Heartwood. The team succeeds, saving the world but knowing that their journey is far from over.
