He, Robert Sullivan, comes from a wealthy and prominent New York family and has a dream he can only realize if he gets married.
She, Andrea Herrera (Andy to her friends), moves to New York with her mother because she requires expensive medical care and is forced to work three jobs to pay for it.
Andy and Robert don't know each other, but one afternoon they meet at the same restaurant where, with the help of a friend of his, they get to know each other and then meet for dinner to discuss a very advantageous deal for both of them. As part of this agreement, they decide to marry for just one year, but at the end of that year they will divorce and go their separate ways.
After a year, will Andy and Robert really divorce or will they continue to live their life together?
