Paper can be stuck back together but there will always be a crinkle or a tear or a bend . The words can be rubbed but never fully erased there will always be a trace or an indent. you can smooth out crumpled paper but it will never be perfect again. and despite every tare, every crinkle and indent and crumple he loved her. This isn't fully a cheesy cliché romance thing that's so predictable.
