Sometimes words can't capture what I'm imagining-a soft light behind the curtain of my thoughts, a quiet place that floats between dreaming and waking. It waits, gentle and bright, for someone curious enough to lift the curtain and walk inside. There's a faint music there, like a song I almost remember, and the smell of rain on stone after a storm. But even as it calls to me, there's a stillness, like the moment before a candle goes out. I can feel the edges starting to fade, a quiet reminder that every light is borrowed and every picture in my mind will one day slip into night. Still, I keep it close, because some things are most beautiful as they begin to disappear.

▛ Watching from a distance, I see him. Laughing in the outside, but crying inside. Of course I know, I've known you for years. But all those years, have you taken the time to know me? I was the one who was always with you, whether you're crying about something, or overly joyed about something. I was always there, beside you. But all those times, you never said it. Even until the day you were whisked away out of my reach. ▟ The Words You Left Unsaid || Ⓒ SkyeWitch, August 20, 2017 - January 27,2018 (Completed) Sep 3,2017 = #906 - 901 Sep 4,2017 = #751 Sep 6,2017 - #492 Sep 27,2017 - #568 Sep 28, 2017 - #444 October 1,2017 - #397 October 2.2017 - #349
