11 parts Ongoing K-OJI is set in the 22nd century, in a world where all living species-except for human beings-have vanished due to a mysterious catastrophic event that ravaged the Earth in the 21st century. In this desolate and haunting world, a young scientist named Blanche embarks on a bold and experimental venture. Driven by a desire for companionship, she constructs a machine she names K-OJI, designed to create a pet rabbit for herself. However, when she activates the machine, disaster strikes-an explosion ensues, and Blanche loses one of her arms in the process.
Five years pass, and now seventeen years old, Blanche has transitioned from scientist to journalist, chronicling the ruins of a world that once thrived. While lurking in a decaying city, she unexpectedly encounters her long-lost creation. To her astonishment, the machine, fueled by some of her own DNA from the lost arm, has not only crafted a rabbit-but also a hybrid creature: a combination of a rabbit and a young boy. This peculiar creation possesses incredible abilities and an undeniably adorable personality.
Blanche must now come to terms with the unforeseen consequences of her invention, while grappling with the emotional and ethical dilemmas surrounding her creation. As the boy-rabbit hybrid begins to develop powers beyond her understanding, Blanche realizes she might have unlocked something far more significant than she ever imagined.
