They always said Gotham City changed people, it was a rumor that circulated the entire nation, one Reese had grown up hearing. She never believed it of course, it was a big city like Metropolis, one guarded by its own group of supers. If you've been to one you've been to them all. When her mother is promoted, along with a very generous scholarship for Reese Larkin, her family can't exactly say no and packs up to move across the country.
