Alternative timeline story of Izuku Midoriya aka Deku, in the My Hero Academia universe/Boku no Hero Academia. In this story grows up much the same quirk less, victimized, and treated worse than a bug under shoe. His home life leads to a disastrous situation, with a helpless incapable mother to defend him, and an abusive quirkiest father, leaving him to fend for himself. A wake up call is given too the overly radiant and smiling hero wannabe, whose dreams are snuffed under a crushed candle wick, letting him see the worlds true image in the darkness. Instead of hiding from it, he lights his own torch, and shows the people of the world, what existence truly means.

Falling (Depressed Deku Fanfic) (COMPLETE)
Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He needs someone so badly. But what if there isn't anybody to help Midoriya? How will Midoriya cope when someone close to him dies right in his arms? Warning! Kacchan thinks that izuku is useless. Many probably think so too. Deku doesn't have a quirk but his mother paid the doctors not to write him down as quirkless. If you are quirkless, you will not only be treated very badly, but in some cases also hunted. Because of the blood. People with quirks have problems getting a blood donation. Someone with an animal quirk cannot donate or get any blood from another animal quirk that is not the same species or another quirk . A person with a fire quirk can only get or give blood from someone with a fire quirk. Blood loss is very dangerous only a quirkless person can donate blood to everyone and become blood from everyone. So Izuku has officially a quirk. His quirk makes him smarter and stronger than the rest of the average. Stronger? What's so bad about being quirkless?
Izuku Midoriya more commonly known as Deku, nerd, waste of space, and useless. Little do those with quirks understand the reality of being quirkless; how hard it is to simply survive let alone live and actually enjoy what life has to offer. Izuku hasn't had it easy in life but he at least has grown up in the real world instead of the pampered and over glorified life you gain if your given the oh so wonderful quirk. After the tragic event of losing his mother his life just spiraled further and further down the rabbit hole. I mean really; what's so bad about being quirkless? Izuku Midoriya was one of the students that were participate into civil war game that Nezu came up with. However Izuku was chosen to be the villain. Needless to say that he was devoted to be the best villain they ever have seen after what they did to him. They thought he was the UA traitor and put him through a lot only because of his love for quirks and his hobby to analyze and write them down. As if that was not enough his mother hated him because of his status of quirklessness. Now in the middle of the game, Izuku made a terrible choice that may cost his live. However what he found himself into was not the infirmary of UA or heaven, no he found himself in the body of his past self in a different world where everything was still open for him. He quickly find out that this was not his past since he now had a loving mother and memories of his past 14 years in a 13 year old body.
