Abel Hoffmann was an aviation prodigy in 1918 and became Germany's Head Pilot once the previous one was declared missing. Once the war faced an end and the country suffered from economic troubles, Hoffmann faked his death and fled to Great Britain, not wanting to be caught in the mess. He gave up his career in piloting and took up baking before having an eventual wife and three kids.

The Year in now 1942, and Germany has changed drastically. They know that Hoffmann is alive and they are willing to take him back to Germany and the skies as Head Pilot one way or another.
