Keithein Salvession, a first-year college student, died in an accidental killing during an NBI operation. She transmigrated into another world.
The moment she opened her eyes, a young gentleman in a blue suit started accusing her of being an unfaithful wife.
Keithein was stunned. She tried to stand but felt dizzy, and someone immediately helped her up.
As far as she knew, some clumsy NBI agent had thrown a grenade at her instead of at the kidnapper.
Remembering how she died, she regretted everything. If only she hadn't taken the shortcut-if she had just spent five more minutes on the longer route-she might have survived.
She wasn't even angry at the NBI for their mistake; she was angry at her own foolishness.
She only went out to use the restroom, and that was how she ended up encountering a bank robbery and becoming one of the hostages.
If only she had stayed a few more minutes, maybe she wouldn't have died. How awful!
"Oh right-the thesis I needed to pass to Mr. Credo. I hope they find the manual on Mrs. Life's table without them getting punished," she thought bitterly.
She remembered the kidnapper's smile and the signal from the NBI leader. She moved-such a wrong move. She should have stayed in the kidnapper's arms and died with him. At least she could have taken one of them down with her before she died. She really regretted it.
In the end, she collapsed once again and heard someone shouting.
