Harry Styles lives alone on his farm a few miles outside of Cider Creek.  He's 20 years old and mighty handsome --too handsome to be keeping to himself as much as he does, but that's how he's always been.

Harry was 18 when he bought his farmland.  No parents, no wife, only him.  He came into town on the rare occasion that he needed something from the mercantile, but that was it.  No church on Sundays. He was polite if someone approached him, but it was obvious to everyone that Harry just wanted to be left alone.  So after awhile, the townsfolk pretty much gave up trying to include him in anything.

He lived his life in deliberate solitude.  It was better this way.

Then one day, a letter came for Harry in the post. The postmaster had to ride out and deliver it special, as Harry never got any mail, and as a result, never stopped by the post office to check like most people did...All Rights Reserved

Harry Styles had it all. He was a record-selling artist who played on all the big arenas around the world. His shows were always sold out and he had the best fanbase. The only thing he didn't have was the one thing he wanted the most: freedom. He had been discovered at age 16 and he had been too naive. He and his mom had signed a ten-year-long contract and they didn't understand then that they signed away his freedom. His management controlled almost everything. They refused to let him come out as gay. Instead, they made him look like a womanizer, forcing him to go on date after date with beautiful high profile women. Harry was so tired of it. He somehow managed to convince his manager to give him three months off. He immediately packed his clothes and headed to his farmhouse in the north of England for some alone time. To his surprise the old couple that was his only neighbors had their grandson helping them out. A gorgeous blue-eyed man named Louis... Purely fictional. Smutwarning!

Harry is an eighteen year old rich boy living in the rural mountainous forests of central Oregon with an anxiety problem and his entire future mapped out ahead of him. He lives to please, he lives to be the squeaky clean model child he was raised to be, though with constant pressure to be even better than his very best, he struggles to balance the heavy weight of life with his wavering mental health and self image. Harry is easily impressionable, and all he wants to chase after is a false idealism of perfection and a happily ever after. He finds that in the neighborhood pothead, and learns quickly that happiness doesn't always come in a picture perfect package, no matter how pretty strawberry blonde hair and green eyes can be. Happily ever after doesn't exist the same way they do in fairytales, they're a lot less magical and they're way more melodramatic and painful. Central Oregon isn't a kingdom far, far away.
