For Dr. Aris Reyes, a man of science and logic, home isn't just a memory. It's a tomb waiting to be filled. He returns to his childhood subdivision in Bulacan with a simple mission: rescue his aging parents from the permanent, chest-deep floods that have turned their community into a Venice of decay.

But the water isn't the only thing they're drowning in. A mysterious sickness born from the endless damp-a lung-rotting plague the locals call the "Amag-Ubo"-is ravaging the remaining residents, twisting their minds with fever and paranoia. No one can trust what they see in the murky depths.
