(This story is a sequel to G5 Adventures in Scooby-Doo! meets Courage the Cowardly Dog)
With the second cutie mark crystal down and knowing what they are facing in regards to Misty's biological mother and Opaline's adopted daughter, Paradise Moonray, the ponies buckle down on research on where the third crystal might be, where Sunny finds some very interesting pages in her father's journal about some sort of creatures called the Smurfs. And in the blink of an eye, the ponies are sent to the same village of the Smurfs for another Unity Quest.
The evil wizard Gargamel as sought out the tiny blue creatures for many years, and finally, he succeeds in chasing the little blue people, plus their pony friends, from their village and through a magic portal created by the very rare Blue Moon-- which transports them to Manhattan and into the life of ad executive Patrick Winslow. Only three apples high and lost in the Big Apple, Sunny and her pony friends must help the Smurfs get back to their world before Gargamel tracks them down and uses the Smurfs' essence to seize control of the world.
But the real question is... will our pony pals aid their friends in returning home? Or will all their efforts be for naught?

In Smurf Village, the rightfully titled strongest member, Hefty Smurf, & now his fiancé, Smurfette are getting married. Fighting off one of the biggest mental battles of his life, Hefty found it in himself to propose to Smurfette in the best way he possibly could. The ceremony is being prepared, plans are going smurfily until one of the invitations go to the wrong hands. The evil wizard who made Smurfette, Gargamel finds the small, blue envelope, & reads the paper inside, informing him that his creation will be wed to Hefty Smurf. Gargamel is surprisingly appalled that his own 'daughter' was getting married & didn't tell him. Gargamel feels at minimum entitled to see the lump of clay he sculpted remold into a bride, but he knows the Smurfs will not share their location with him under any circumstance. So the thorny sorcerer comes up with a method to use the couple's strong sense of empathy to persuade them to let him come to their wedding, reminding Smurfette that he's her father, & points out to her fiancé that he needs his blessing to marry his daughter. (This story is a sequel to G5 Adventures in Hocus Pocus) Opaline's power has risen to its highest height, and while our pony heroes are arranging a feast for their friends and loved ones for Harvest and Hugs Day, the Unity Crystals send them on one more quest in order to defeat her in the most unlikely place possible... the Himalayas. Unfortunately, they have to do part of this separated. Misty and Sunny get separated from their friends and join Shaggy and Scooby-Doo on on their way to join Fred, Daphne, Velma and the rest of their pony pals in Paris when they're waylaid by an ambitious hunter out to snare the abominable snowman. Figuring Shaggy and Scooby, as charter members of Mystery, Inc., can find their way to a monster, the hunter pursues the legendary Yeti from one angle while a research scientist and his assistant try to get to the creature from another. Terribly inscrutable about the snowman is the High Lama of Shangri-La, who has his own reasons for keeping a sacred shrine to the Yeti. When the gang and the Mane 6 are finally reunited, they can't seem to shake the beast as it spreads its icy terror, causing them to hightail it through ancient monasteries, underground caverns and outrace an avalanche to crack the mystery behind the chilling creature and defeat Opaline before both of them put our heroes on ice and in the flames... forever!
