Selina Crius became a commander of the Constellation army far too young, she lost her childhood the day everything went down. Reeling from the PTSD of battle, she finds herself needing to go back to the realm that caused so much pain to retrieve a stolen star, one that may alter the scales of balance among. But her one companion, Atlas, may not be as innocent as he seems and the man who might be her downfall. The only trustworthy person may just be the man she had been hunting all this time: Kieran Moris. Kieran Moris has spent his life protecting those who society rejected. The prince of an unrecognized court, he sets off to gain something he knows will bring the title Court of Palemoor and protect his people; stealing a powerful star. What he was not prepared for, was a girl coming with his long-term enemy to retrieve what he had stolen. Nor did he prepare to fall for her. Now, guarding her from the shadows, he finds himself protecting her from anything. Even her own companion.
