For centuries, the supernatural lived in silence among mankind, bound by a charter that demanded secrecy and restraint. Some chose to blend into human life, while others withdrew into isolation, clinging to the traditions of their kind.

Yet beneath this fragile peace, unrest began to stir. Among all the hidden races, the wolves bore the heaviest burden, their suffering festering in the shadows.

Now, after two hundred years of uneasy harmony, the balance threatens to crumble-and the long-held peace is on the verge of breaking.

~~

In a world where the supernatural hides behind ordinary lives, one family's secrets are about to unravel. A new school year begins, friendships spark, and rivalries ignite-but something darker stirs beneath the surface. When love, danger, and fate collide, peace will shatter, and nothing will ever be the same.

Whereas Cassius is dreaming of living a normal life, unable to live like a mortal. Being the son of the most powerful vampire in history, Dracula, means that by law he is the Vampire Prince. What neither of them expect is for Cassius to fall in love with someone he shouldn't, especially when they're the son of the most highly trained vampire hunter in not just New York, but in all of the magic realm. - It was almost impossible for a vampire to live a normal life. It was against the law for vampires to be with any other beings than their own kind. The magic realm was filled with different monsters and creatures that were a risk to human kind, which was why they stayed hidden. They were deemed so dangerous, that they were hunted by a different species: angels. Vampires and angles had been at war for centuries, with the heavenly-like creatures winning every battle. But it was important to keep the two species separate, as angel blood was the cure to any vampire becoming human again, keeping in mind that once bitten by a vampire, for an angel it was sudden death. However in this day and age, vampires walked freely amongst the city. After all, they needed humans to feed and in order to do that, they had to blend in. The war between vampires and angels had to be kept secret from human kind, and the species had to stay apart. But for one vampire and one angel, it was hard to stay apart, because sometimes you can't help falling in love. COMPLETED.
