Years ago, his father had told him that, and Shirou thought he understood what he meant. It was only now that he understood the weight of those words. The Holy Grail War had returned to Fuyuki-the same ritual where his father's wish had unleashed death upon the city.
Shirou tried to enter the war, but the summoning failed, leaving him a powerless fool in a war of legends. He is surrounded on all sides by those who would harm others. They wear the faces of friends-or, worse, call him brother.
Yet he will fight-for the promise that he made to his father...
