The girl tilted her head, strands of glowing hair falling into her face. For the first time since she woke, she whispered, her voice small but steady.
"...Are you here for me?"
Bumblebee's optics softened. He reached one careful hand toward her, palm open, offering safety instead of chains.
Through the bond of energy that hummed between them, he already knew the answer.
"Yes."
