This story takes place throughout the Marvel Cinematic Timeline. Starting from Steve Rogers very first rejection from the Army in the 1940s and going from there throughout every single film that Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes have appeared in and that does include the current solo Bucky media like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Thunderbolts* (The New Avengers). I will warn you that this is completely my interpretation of the films so if you do not agree with my philosophy that Steve and Bucky have been secretly dating since the 1940s then just don't read this fanfic.

As we all know Steve Rogers and James Buchanan Barnes had been friends since their childhood. They went from buddies in the school yard to war buddies on the battlefield but what if there was more to the story than everyone else really knew? What if they were far more than friends and instead we're in fact lovers who had to hide their affections for one another behind the shield of male friendship? What if their love was so deep that even 70 years apart couldn't make either of them forget? Join me on this journey of the secret love life of Captain Steve Rogers and Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes.All Rights Reserved
