Cameron

In a remote corner of the city of Solanki, there lived a boy named Cameron, no more than seventeen years old. He was alone, enveloped in isolation like a heavy veil. He would sit with no one. Even the school desks witnessed his estrangement, as he would choose a remote corner to sit silently, lost in the surroundings.
He found no pleasure in his lessons or the noise of his peers, but his heart beat with a strange passion for predatory creatures, especially venomous reptiles. Among all these creatures, his soul was bound to a majestic snake he named Sileosan; a snake that was his only companion and the repository of his hidden secret.
He would sit with it as he sat with a close friend, conversing with it silently, finding in the whisper of its movement what he had never found in human company. It was as if fate had woven a seclusion for him that could only be dispelled by the creeping of a snake and its gleaming eyes glittering in the darkness.
