Anika Sokolov was thoroughly fed up of England, of the people, the men, of Oxford. She hated it. But it was better than what she used to have, back in Russia. Daughter of a politician, family with deep ties to the Bratva and a future carved in ice. But that was in the past, that was gone. Or so she thought. So she prayed. To be left alone.

But life hated Anika almost as much as she hated life.

Especially when it kept throwing Nathaniel Evensley at her. The Son of an Earl and the son of the devil himself. Nathaniel Evensley was a sadist and he had it out for Anika. Especially considering she 'ruined his life' last summer causing Nathaniel to loose any hope of becoming a rugby player.

Anika thought she'd left him behind until General Wrath drags both her and Nate back to Abernathy and insists on a team building exercise between their quarrelling siblings. Anika couldn't think of anything worse than being trapped for a week with a man she despised. A six foot something, mullet haired, tattooed god of a man who looked like he wanted to rip her in half. It was a good thing Anika grew up with claws and learned how to use them. But every time she thinks she's escaping Nathaniel Evensley, she realises he's got his claws far deeper in her than she expected.

And that was terrifying because no one broke into Anika's cold mask. Ever.
And she'd be damned if she'd let Nathaniel Evensley be the first. Especially when he was so smitten with his fucking girlfriend. She wouldn't be waiting for him by his heels. She would not allow herself to be his little kitten. Ever.
