In which two young vikings go against their ancestors' tradition by befriending two deadly dragons.
In which you and Hiccup gets closer when he becomes friends with a dragon.
After your whole island was destroyed, you were taking in by the chief of Berk, Stoick the Vast. You are an outsider, and not really popular and that is after your choice since there is a reason why you don't want to draw attention to yourself.
Your best friend is Hiccup who is also not really popular and is a outsider.
You are the only viking that don't like hurting dragons even your best friend Hiccup want to kill a dragon so he can get notice by his tribe.
You and Hiccup tell each other everything except one thing, one big secret that you have kept from him and everyone else for years.
But when Hiccup shoot down a Night Fury and he chooses to befriend it instead of killing it, it all change and you find out that you and Hiccup might not be that different.
As you help Hiccup the two of you get closer and you both find out that what you feel for the other is a lot deeper than just friendship.
Now you and Hiccup want to change the vikings' perspectives on dragons but it easier said than done.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III a teenage Viking who earn the ranks to kill his first ever Dragon in Dragon Training. He could not kill it, he wouldn't kill it knowing himself having one of them as his own, never the less, he was afraid of losing his only best friend, Toothless. He would never trust and look at him the same way. So he decided to take matters into his on hands by running away or flying away from berk, not the best move but knowing he was know as the village runt or the Chief's screwup and would always get beat up for no valid reasons by his cousin and his friends, sure he pass every training with a prefect score but he still did not get the respect that he deserve from the villagers. If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this? UPDATE!!!!: This is a very old book I wrote and upon rereading it, I hate it. :). The plot's a bit crap, the characters make little to no sense, I cringe at every other line, Y/N is the biggest pick me girl and it hurts my soul, and the writings not that great either. So I'm rewriting it. If this book sounds interesting to you, please read the other updated version that won't make you want to rip your own eyes out (hopefully). It's still called 'He made me believe...' but it has '(UPDATED)' in the title so please read that one instead so I can sleep better at night. My mother quickly took me and my sister away as my father fought. we were almost to the hidden hideout. then a knet came out of no were and we got caught. we fell to the ground as Vikings surrendered us. i was frightened about what was going to happen to us. Our mother tried to protect us, but they shot a arrow at her head and died. they did the same thing to my sister. i cried in tears which caught their attention. they whispered to each other and then one walked up to me and said. "Today is your lucky day freak, you will be on sell." i tried to back away from him as much as i could, but there was no use. they dragged me from the knets to their ship as i was to scared to fight them.Completa

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third is the only son of Stoick the Vast, chief of the Hooligan tribe. As his only son, he is next in line for the chiefdom which wouldn't be a problem, if he wasn't a runt. Viking's believe that a name is what strikes fear into your enemies. Hiccup's obviously doesn't. The name is given to those who won't survive their first winter. Those who don't belong, those who will not be any more than a burden. Hiccup isn't an exception to this. I mean, sure he survived his first winter, and the next fifteen. But he caused problems, not on purpose. Things just happened when he was around. First when he was six, and a nearby furnace blew up when he lost his temper. Then when he was eight, nine, eleven. These strange happenings kept occurring, and nothing he did helped. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him.
