Amethyst is a junior in high school. She is on the schools varsity soccer team. She loves soccer and wants to be on the pro level. One day a pro soccer coach comes to one of her games to see if she can find a new member for her team. She comes up to Amethyst after the game and congratulates her on the win. She offers Amethyst a position on the team, but amethyst has to finish school first. Amethyst has until the end of her senior year to figure out if she wants to or not, but she also loves music and would like to go into that profession. While Amethyst, her best friends on the soccer team, and her boyfriend, who is also on the team, are at a karaoke night, they convince her to sing a song. What they don't know is that there is a music producer there looking for young singers. After Amethyst's performance the music producer comes up to her and offers her a position on his record label, but Amethyst has to finish school first.
