Elara has survived the Great War between Eldoria and Virewyn, but at the cost of her kingdom, her family, her people. She stands as the sole survivor from Eldoria, and now she watches as Virewyn's flag rises in victory. Her survival was planned because of a deal her family made at the cost of themselves. Elara is taken to Virewyn, raised there, forced- to follow their traditions, culture, rules and lifestyle. Years later she is forced to step into the Veil of Valor, a set of games played by each kingdom around the world. Elara is made to go in the games to represent Virewyn along with Rhaegar Virewyn.
Rhaegar Virewyn is the rebel crown prince of Virewyn. He would do anything and everything to cause a ruckus. He thought that by rebelling he can take revenge of the torture he had to go through. His father's disappointment is what drives him to rebel more and more. He causes a big scene right before another big problem comes his way. And that problem was none other than the Veil of Valor. With the games approaching, Rhaegar has to spend a great deal of time in training with Elara.
