guys, this is a little like my last story, "wait.. WHAT?!" ok... a LOT like it. but this one is more of a book. i was thinking about having it published someday in the future, but i am still in the process of writing it, and would LOVE to know what you think about it so far. So, yeah. it is practically the same book, but with a few names changed and way more details, and some of the scenes changed a bit. so far, i have no one to edit this book for me, so if you see any mistakes, just leave it down in the comments and let me know.

Hi. My name is Embryss Navae Johnson. But I go by Embryss, or just Em. I am 15 years old and I have seen and been through things that you couldn't even BEGIN to imagine.

My dad killed my mom when I was only five while my twin brother and I were forced to watch.

When we were six, the beatings began. Then came being locked in the basement - no food, no water. If we were good, we would get one piece of bread, one small cup of water.

At seven, the beatings continued. Sometime that year, my brother went missing. I'm hoping that he made it out alive.

Finally, when I was eight, the cops arrested my dad. I was sent to live in an orphanage. and I have been in the system since. I have never been adopted. Truth be told, not entirely sure I want to be. Well, that was what I always thought, until it actually happened.
