Pumpkin Spice & Vampire Bites

Asra is a vampire who's been running her bookshop cafe for years, her most prized achievement in her eternal life. She was perfectly happy running her shop alone-- until Ivory walked in that fateful day. It was two years ago, just as autumn was finally settling in, and not only had Ivory just moved into York, but also into Asra's heart. She knew her order by heart: A pumpkin spice latte and a new horror book, with an hour to settle down in the shop's leather couch to read.

But Asra knew that they would always stay this way, customer and server, until one day in October, Ivory asks that instead of Asra making pumpkin spice lattes for her, she buys one for Asra.

Though Asra's daydreams have finally come true, she has yet to reveal her true nature to Ivory-- That she's a creature of the night, much like the ones Ivory reads about. She fears that Ivory will treat her like the monsters she reads about instead of the sweet, pacifist girl she really is.

Will the two finally blossom into something more? Or will their budding relationship freeze over like a late autumn evening?
