Between the encounter with a mysterious man who meets her, asks her a strange question, and then disappears like a ghost, leaving a curse of bad luck on her life, followed by her mom losing control, her ''dad'' thinking that he can build a spaceship in the garage out of nowhere, an old friend that reappears with a desperate message hiding a secret and a little sister that requires her protection from their ''father'', Kira is just trying not to lose her mind, while figuring out how the hell her life became such a bad joke.

As Kira used to say, sometimes life can be really messed up!

This is a story of survival, sarcasm, and an attempt to stay sane in a world that clearly wasn't. The story follows Kira, a 16-year-old girl who used to live with her single mother, Caroline, and her 10-year-old sister, Kimi. Kira's life will suddenly change completely, and she will start a crazy journey to get her normal, boring life back.

Will Kira ever find out the truth and regain control of her life, or will she get stuck forever, in this chaotic chain of bad luck?
