In a galaxy-wide war. For over 20 years, humanity has been on the defensive, surviving against the odds from a genocidal religious alien cult known as the Covenant. Fighting for humanities very existence, untold numbers of UNSC forces will lay down their lives so that countless others may live.
This story is a "what if scenario" and unique take on an idea that the creators of Halo original made for a draft to how Halo 2 was supposed to end during the designing phase of the videogames. (When Halo 2 was the "last game" and Halo 3 wasn't supposed to exist due to the current development schedules at the time).
That idea being how Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes were supposed to have a "romantic relationship" at the end of the game, but scrapped it due to it making no sense for this to even happen.
So, this story about this concept of an unlikely relationship with Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes and will recreate it to be more complex and expand this scrapped idea and potential make something of it.
Ultimately, during the darkness of war, the time for companionship is an afterthought as time passes and chaos continues. Will this unlikely duo that being the legendary Spartan 2 Master Chief and UNSC Commander Miranda Keyes grow closer together against such darkness against the Covenant, or fall victim as many have before them.

September 23rd, 2560, AI, Naomi Hello captain, to preface the ongoing conflict with the Banished forces, our resources are draining faster than anticipated, Marines, Spartan IV's, and even our Sangheili allies like the arbiter are being affected with the escalating conflict. ONI however is... they're getting on my nerves, they're being more paranoid than usual and I have an idea why, a field report in 2559 was filed during the Spirit of Fire issue, during their skirmises with the Banished, but that's not what's scaring ONI, at least i don't think.. in that report, a squad of marines under interim commander "Major Vaughan" have reported suspicious activity near firebase Omikron... something about a shifting shape with bioluminescent curtains within. a strange report to say the least, but whatever it is it's got ONI's panties in a bunch... AI Naomi, signing out. PS: i apologize but I must advise caution, I believe this universe is far larger than we all anticipated. --------- Authors Note: this Story is going to be INCREDIBLY slow.

After an UNSC fleet fell prey to an ancient Forerunner scheme, a lone Spartan is left stranded in a world that he doesn't understand. He gets himself inadvertently bonded to a dragon, marking him as a pawn in a new conflict. He must fight for his life and overcome his own nature to gain allies in a world where nothing makes sense. But war always catches on, burning all it touches. Episode 2: I believe that seeing more than 60 parts in a story makes the readers (or at least me as a reader) feel uncomfortable so I'm dividing in different Episodes: At the Beors, At Du Weldenvarden, The Beggining of the Invasion, New Allies, etc. I suggest to read each chapter entirely to get a better grasp of the plot. Also, there are some scenes of bloodshed and fight, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. There may be some scenes not for children but not until, at least, chapter 35, Episode 3 or 4. Updates once or twice a week. Halo, but with an oddity. Halo was destroyed, the Covenant was dealt a devastating blow, and the Flood were wiped out. At least, that's how it was supposed to go. Now, the Covenant intend to take the battle to Mother Earth, but the Remnants of Noble and the Master Chief were not just going let that happen. They were going to fight and drive the Covenant off their home, and pursue them to wherever they may run! On the other hand, Thel 'Vadamee is disgraced for his failure to protect Halo. In order to keep his life, he must do the biddings of the Holy Hierarchs, the Prophets of Truth, Mercy, and Regret. Luckily, his closest ally, Zayda 'Zazumee was going to remain by his side. . . Marching Fleet
This is a show script inspired heavily by many different classic franchises like Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar: Galactica and Halo. The story is a military sci-fi action show with a bit of drama in between and some fantasy elements later on and also sprinkled with comedy now and again. The show is also heavily peppered with music terminology and music references like the names of certain ships and aspects of war and the names of factions specially. I made this show as an allegory for my experience in band and all characters are based on real people and the relationships between them. A story about war in the universe. I joined the band at my high school as a brass player, specifically tuba, and became obsessed with all things music, it was always present in all things I did. One day I made a drawing of a ship and called it the "SS Vanguard Brass" and sent it to my friends in brass. One responded by saying "hey, that should be a fan fiction or something"(Duclos), so I sat down and thought about it and decided that if I was going to do it, even though I adore movies, it would have to be a show. So I spent a few hours of my day that I had to spare and wrote a pilot that I then shared with my friends. They adored the script and said they would support me with creative help(meaning they would judge would I write). A few months later it is now being read by many people I know, including the director of my high school band.
