"Why did you leave me?" I ask while wrapping his wrist. He didn't look at me, he couldn't look at me. "I'm sorry Mae, you wouldn't understand." I thought he had known me better than that, we were best friends for 14 years, then dating for 2. "I miss you Mae, I should've reached out." I couldn't show that he still affected me.
