Promises On Empty Air

She gave her heart to a man who once swore forever yet forever now feels like silence. Every promise he made hangs like smoke in the wind. It was present for a moment, and it was gone the next seconds. She stays, convinced that love means enduring, even as she becomes a shadow in his life.

But when someone new steps into her world, he doesn't only make promises, he shows them. Yet, she gone too numb to even noticed the real love than the shallow one.

Will she ever notice it, or will she unknowingly let true love slip away and vanish into the thin air?
