He stands there, shaking, his fists clenched, fighting the evil spirit possessing his body. His eyes are filled with a dangerous insanity as he stares daggers at me. "Stiles, please..." I whimper. And then as if my voice has helped him win this stupid game, his boy goes completely rigid and he falls to the concrete. The second he hits the ground, he scrambles to his feet and looks around, confused. "Cora? Did I-"
I run at him, throwing my arms around him. "You scared the hell out of me!"
"I'm okay," he breathes into my hair, "it's all gonna be alright, Cora."
Tears pour down my cheeks and onto his t-shirt. "I thought I lost you!"
"You'll never lose me," he responds. 
And somehow, I believe him.
