Annabelle Colton is a feisty and temperamental 24 year old woman working for a company called SH company, and her old boss, Martin estránge, just died from a sudden heart attack on friday. then on Monday, when she gets to work, there's a new boss. Alex Hatridge, estranged nephew of her old boss, and he does things in a totally different way. he's also fierce and fiery, which Annabelle can't stand, despite being the same way herself. he's ambitious, smug, arrogant, a total bad boy, insufferable, unpersuasive, immoral, unethical, unfortunately not impermanent, filthy rich, flirty, a smartass, single, and impossibly handsome. and she hates him. it's his way or the highway, and Annabelle is determined to be the highway.

"Anna!" She screamed, lunging at me. "Nicole!" I screamed, loosing my footing on the edge and tumbling over the side. "No!" Nicole shrieked, falling to the place where I just was, and grabbing onto my hand, crying as she struggled to pull me up, loosing her own footing as well. and then I hear it. a loud crack, and she tumbles over the side as well, letting go of my hand as we both fall to our eventual, painful, definetly splattery deaths.
