The Adam and Eve Project

The world had long since grown tired of its own imperfections. Their mission was not simply to edit genomes, but to create beings free of the flaw that had plagued humanity since the first rebellion in the garden. Theologians guided the scientists not only in scripture but in philosophy, ethics, and the nature of the soul. They believed if they could fuse knowledge with faith, science with spirit, they might succeed where the first creation had faltered.
