After her family's murders back on Earth, Genesis Domine Lunaré Eternaé-Kaine joins the RDA's Avatar Program in hopes of escaping her grief on the moon of Pandora. Having earned a doctorate in medicine with a specialization in genetic therapy and modification as well as a degree in xenobiology dedicated to veterinary medicine, Genesis is no stranger to hardwork. And if there's anything that the head of the Avatar Program, Grace Augustine, values it's hardwork.
Partnered with fellow researcher and scientist, Thomas Sully, Genesis is expecting a simple experience while studying the life on Pandora. However, she gets more than she bargained for when her partner-to-be unexpectedly dies in a mugging gone wrong. Replaced by his twin brother, Jake Sully - former marine turned paraplegic - is nothing compared to his soft spoken, studious brother. And yet, he might be just what's needed to get close to the local Na'vi clan - the Omaticaya.
