Daniel was normal fourteen year old but without a father he lived a normal life as a fourteen year old should,until he he's mother was diagnosed with leukaemia ever since then his life changed he was already the man of the house but now he's has to take care of everything.Now his mother can't even afford the hospital bills and has to be taken care of at home and to top it all off he's being bullied online and in school.His friend Jonny is worried about him Daniel always says he's ok with a weak smile but Jonny know he's lying.Daniel is a boy with a broken smile.

This book is about just some regular high school teens and just their life. Characters (Key Main Characters Kind of): Marvin and Daniel are very different. Daniel is a straight A-B student, is in a band, is a lady magnet ;So Marvin calls him; is very quiet at times, he's also 17 years old. Marvin is the opposite of Daniel,he's 19. Now James is an interesting boy; he is a big partier, loves to surf, his best friend is Marvin, he's a player but not a player like Marvin is, he has dark brown hair, also dark blue/ green eyes, he loves his sister Jade and watches out for her. Now Jade, interesting girl I have to say; she's hates the popularity but she deals with it, she has green cat like eyes, light brown hair, she's not a type of girl who dresses up to impress or anything, she only does what she wants and needs to, her make up is almost always light, most boys think of her has a "hot girl", she's a surfer; might I say quiet an amazingly great one to; she follows her brother to his friends parties and things like that to make sure he's safe, she has a crush on Daniel, but so do all the other girls too.
