This is a fanfiction staring Rumplestiltskin and my self insert, Chess (Cheshire Cat). This story is just for fun as I love the show and want to share the little character I created. This story takes place in Storybrooke just after Emma arrived, and magic was brought to the town. Chess or Cat (the nickname he goes by in this world), has a mysterious history with the Dark one, but strangely, Rumple has no memory of it. He will go through the motions of finding, and putting together the pieces of this puzzle. And in the end, when he has almost all the pieces, he is left with one question... why would Chess return after so many years? watch this story unfold, and enjoy!!
