Time Bound

In the morning mist, where one feels both hazy and sleepy, a man stands with a sword in hand, held sideways. Eyes closed in deep concentration, he begins to move-each swing graceful, each motion powerful. His swordplay flows like water, deliberate and serene.
From the shadow of a nearby tree, a figure watches silently. Silver eyes trace every movement with quiet fascination.
The man continues for a full shi, then gradually slows, ending as he began-eyes still closed. He turns toward the shadow, and gold meets silver.
A spark ignites-felt only by the two of them.
The man exhales softly and calls out, "Wei Ying."
The figure steps forward, lips curved in a subtle smile. "Lan Zhan," he replies, voice calm despite the turmoil within. "I'm sorry for intruding on your practice session. I got lost... well, again."

This is my first ever fanfiction. I am an enthusiastic reader and a big fan of mdzs. I have been in this pit since 2020. And I can't get out and don't want to.
Most of the characters belong to MXTX, there may be some OCs (well it's a fanfiction). The plot belongs to me though :).
