Our story revolves around a young man living in a village belonging to a kingdom called Rohask, where he works as a blacksmith. He lives with his parents, who we will discover are not his biological parents. In fact, the young man is the rightful heir to the throne of that kingdom.

Here's how he came to be with them: When he was just a child, he was on a journey with his mother, the queen. On their way back, they were ambushed by bandits who killed everyone in the royal entourage. However, fate had other plans, and the child survived because his mother had hidden him in a secret compartment within the carriage. The bandits took everything they could carry and left the royal carriage behind.

A farmer named John found the child, Arthur, and raised him as his own son. As Arthur grows up, he sets out to reclaim his rightful place on the throne from Queen Alicent, who took over the rule of Rohask Kingdom after the death of her husband, the king and Arthur's biological father. Arthur's journey becomes a conquest to reach his goal.

In the high-tech, magic-touched kingdom of **Aurelia**, every royal is born into the spotlight - except one. **Princess Elara Vale**, the youngest child of the royal family, was hidden from the world after a prophecy declared she would "awaken what was lost." To keep her safe, her parents erased her existence from public records. She grew up surrounded by love from her siblings but always behind walls, longing to see the world for herself. When her secret is accidentally leaked, Elara runs away - not in rebellion, but in search of freedom, identity, and purpose. In the neon city of **Ravenport**, she meets **Kael Arden**, a quiet mechanic with no memory of his childhood and a strange amulet that glows in her presence. As they form a bond, they're joined by a group of unexpected friends - a hacker, a healer, and a street magician - each searching for their own truth. Together, they discover that Kael is the lost prince of the long-vanished Shadow Realm, kidnapped at birth, and that the prophecy ties both of them to the future of their worlds. Through their journey, Elara learns what it means to live beyond a title. Kael learns what it means to belong. And their friends - ordinary people with extraordinary hearts - become the family they choose. It's a story about **finding friendship, courage, and self-worth** in a world that often defines you by what you were born to be - not who you choose to become.

❀✿𝕳𝖔𝖓𝖔𝖚𝖗𝖆𝖇𝖑𝖊 𝕸𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓✿❀ ❀✿𝕺𝕹𝕮 2022 𝕾𝖍𝖔𝖗𝖙𝖑𝖎𝖘𝖙✿❀ ❀✿@Romance Romance Reads Contest Winner-- Historical Fiction ✿❀ Prince Arthur, The Once and Future King. Sir Lancelot, his faithful First Knight. Guinevere, Arthur's promised bride. Garreth, her best friend and cousin, the son of Merlin (Myrddin), the great wizard. It sounds just like the Arthurian Legend, doesn't it? But... What if everything happened differently? What if the young Princess Guinevere was not so keen on marrying Prince Arthur, whom she met... when he came for a week-long sightseeing tour to her father's kingdom accompanied by dashing Sir Lancelot? What if she was... dressed as a knight, pretending to be a bodyguard hired for the visitors? And... What if it was 'a she', who was destined to pull the sword from the stone and thus unite the kingdoms? This is my version, a humorous retelling of the famous legend, a medieval fantasy- coming of age- romantic comedy. *This story is purposely historically innacurate, set in some parallel, fantastical Britain that is different from what it had really been in the past, even though I'm using real locations, historically confirmed battles, and the Saxons as enemies of my legendary King Arthur.
