Hydra had many secrets-but none like her. When the Avengers raid a crumbling Hydra base, they don't expect to find a girl strapped down, half-frozen, and barely alive. Covered in scars and frost, she carries a past no one can unravel and powers no one understands. They bring her back to the tower, hoping to heal her, but it quickly becomes clear that she isn't just another victim. She's dangerous. She's broken. And somehow-though Bucky can't explain why-she feels achingly familiar. As the team grows closer to her, one question lingers: Is she a second chance... or another Hydra weapon waiting to destroy them? Her fate is a mystery, but one thing is certain- her story won't leave them untouched. ⸻ Warnings: -Violence and graphic injury descriptions -Torture references (psychological and physical) -Themes of trauma and PTSD -Panic attacks / anxiety -Medical emergencies -Blood -Character death (implied/uncertain) -Heavy angst and emotional distress ⸻ I only own the main character, all other characters are credited to Marvel.

Bucky's POV: Nat peeked, barely dodged another bullet. "I think that's The Red Angel," she muttered, sliding into position beside me. I glanced at her. Red Angel? "Didn't think she was real," Nat continued. "Thought she was just a myth. Supposedly trained in the Red Room. Or maybe Hydra got their hands on her first - no one really knows. There's talk she was an experiment. The kind that leaves a trail." She shifted again, moved to another position as the others kept the woman busy. I followed, covered her flank. Then Nat said the part that stuck with me: "Thing is... she should be old by now. But the way she moves? Doesn't look like any grandma I've ever seen." (...) Nat: "What the hell was that?" I didn't answer. Couldn't. I was staring into the smoke, my fists clenched. My breath shallow. "Someone I might've known," I finally said, voice low. "Someone they might've used me to create."
