This is a fanfiction set in Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson universe-but with a darker, sharper edge.

Robert Cortez isn't your average fifteen-year-old. Teachers glare at him. Classmates avoid him. Even the air hums when he gets annoyed. He doesn't know why-until his algebra teacher turns into a shadow demon, and his new guidance counselor (who just so happens to have goat hooves) insists monsters have been hunting him his whole life.

Dragged into the hidden world of gods and demigods, Robert discovers he's the son of a god-one of the worst ones. The kind of god who makes people bow or break. The kind of god who abandoned him.

Now, with a sarcastic ally, a watch from the only dad who ever loved him, and lightning powers he can barely control, Robert is pulled into a quest older than Olympus itself. Something is stirring in the heavens. Shackles that have held for millennia are weakening. And if they snap, the sky itself may fall.

The gods call Robert dangerous. Robert calls them out for what they really are.
When the gods treat you like a weapon, you have two choices: serve them...
