The echoes of the past have faded, replaced by the rising tide of a new global terror. Brooke Wayne has secured her place as The Key, leading the Bat-Family from the high-tech heart of The Shadow Nexus. But the destruction of the League of Assassins has unleashed something far more insidious: a decentralized network of power-hungry syndicates, led by the enigmatic Architect, who sees the world's chaos as an opportunity for ultimate control.

As Brooke navigates a treacherous landscape of digital warfare, bio-threats, and silent assassinations, her unique Legacy pushes her mind to its limits. With Lana Lang her only consistent anchor amidst the storm, and Bruce Wayne battling the streets of Gotham once more, Brooke must redefine her command, her family, and her very identity.

When the enemy hides in plain sight and the world's fate rests on a single mind, can The Key unlock humanity's survival, or will The Architect rebuild global order in a new image of fear?

Hiccup Haddock is obligued to do as his people say and fight in a war that didn't even had to be fought. Since this "disastrous chain of events" ocurred, he started a journal to express all of his sorrows. Being who he is, a chief, he quickly finds himself fighting agaist The Greatest Warrior in the Land, who also happened to be The Fairest Maiden of Dun'Broch. That, of course, he didn't know.
