Untrust Helena (English Version)

Helena, a young Portuguese literature student, sees her life descend into a nightmare when she is abducted by a masked man and locked away in a remote, freezing warehouse. Chained and powerless, she is forced to endure fifteen harrowing days of hunger, thirst and psychological torment, watching plates of food deliberately kept just out of reach, while only being given a bucket of filthy water every three days. All of it is relentlessly recorded by multiple cameras.

When all hope seems lost, Valentim appears - a mysterious man who pulls her out of captivity. Yet his rescue is far from straightforward: he had not been searching for her at all, but for another missing woman. Distrustful and scarred by her ordeal, Helena struggles to believe in his motives - even lashing out at him more than once.

Amid silences, fears and unsettling revelations, Helena comes to realise that her abduction is bound to the very case Valentim is investigating. Now, she must remain "disappeared" if they are to have any chance of saving the other woman.

Between wounds, secrets and constant dread, an intense passion is born - as dangerous as the enemy pursuing them.
