I was just someone who was... broken... I served in the war. Came back home, but life was unkind...no job...don't have any college degree, so no go, and my girl left me. It seems that I am just going to vanish somewhere in the dark place while people go on their day and the Avengers save the world. But one day something occurred that changed the world that fell into darkness.
While the world fell apart, I survived. No, I didn't just survive. I thrived in this now-dead wasteland as if I had been dead all along.

The Government took me away from my family when I was 8 years old, they said I wasn't Zombie enough to be considered a Zombie. They had my name changed from something original, but that let's face it doesn't match anything about me, to a normal unique original name. Most zombies did have normal human like names except for me. Now, I'm a human. No one trusts me at all, I don't need a watch thing, but everyone still thinks I'll eat their brains. This is too soon. I'm not even eighteen. I'm not a legal adult. I shouldn't have experienced all of this. Not so young. I was too young to be taken from my home at night, too young to have aliens targeting me, too young to have my brother get kidnapped on my behalf. And I'm still too young to have so much responsibility on my shoulders. I can't stop the invasion all on my own, even if I have the Avengers on my side. But they'll only get in the aliens' way. They'll just be collateral damage. Nothing will stop everyone from dying, except for me. If I hand myself over, everything will go back to normal. For everyone but myself, that is. You assume most nerds aren't physically fit but this nerd could run for hours on end and never get tired. Sarah called me the young Steve Rogers even though when Steve Rogers was young it was hard enough for him to walk long distances nevermind run. Running has become a common thing with me. Especially at night after my nightmares. The nightmares are roughly the same, the experiment that turned my dad into a big green monster but instead he doesn't survive the blast. What a lot of people don't know is that I was actually in the lab with him. I watched as he tested the machines to make sure there were no accidents or causalities. Everything seemed to be fine, until it wasn't. The machine malfunctioned and the gamma rays went out of control. Not only did my dad get hit but so did I. The effects weren't exactly the same obviously but they did the same job of giving the victims unnatural abilities. On my run I started to think more about the accident as tears streamed down my face and my feet started to feel like they were on fire since my body wanted to just give out and sulk. My mother chose to leave me, my father tried to leave me. What is it about me that repels people? You start to remember, You were in a training fight, testing a new serum they used on you, and your opponent broke your arm. There was no way to heal it fast enough, so they replaced it, up to your shoulder with one made from metal. "This isn't even the worst" "So, you remember?" "I'm remembering." This a story of a young girl coming from a tough place, learning how to be a teenager and becoming an Avenger. You see a lot of the Avengers and re-visit some iconic scenes, re-told from a new perspective. What kinds of things will happen to a young kid coping with past struggles and saving the world?
