His Mark

I only went to the movies to escape for a night.
I never expected to walk out with a stranger's mark on my skin.

He's dangerous.
Too powerful. Too controlling.
The kind of man who commands every room he steps into-
and yet, in the shadows of that theater, his attention was fixed on me.

I told myself it was nothing.
A mistake.
Something I could forget.

But he doesn't forget.
He doesn't forgive.
And he doesn't let go.

Now I'm trapped in his world of secrets, rivals, and whispered threats.
He says he's protecting me.
He says I belong to him.

But protection has a price.
And the deeper I fall, the more I wonder-
am I surviving his world... or surrendering to it?
