Emily has always felt like a ghost in her own life-adrift, unseen, and longing to run away. But when she wakes up in a dark corridor with only a broken phone in her hand, she is forced to confront the questions she has avoided all her life. Who is she? Why is she here? And why does the name Ethan echo louder than her own heartbeat? Between the walls that seem to breathe, Emily discovers that some prisons are built not of stone... but of silence

After failing in a heist, Ophelia Sinclair is sent to a correctional boarding school, being told she was lucky she wasn't being sent to jail. At first, everything seems normal. Group therapy sessions, constructive activities, library time, dorms- everything you would expect. Except something is off. Everyone is diagnosed with a behavioral disorder of some kind, but no one shows any symptoms of these disorders. They're prescribed medication and are required to take it every night before curfew. Ophelia begins to notice something weird. She slowly starts forgetting things from her life before, and remembering things that never happened. Will she figure out what this place is before her identity is replaced, or will it be too late?
