January's Month of Delights (A TF Contest Fic)

A small group of strange critters live on Mount Olympus with the Greek gods and goddesses.

See, the creatures have a magic book known as the "Mystichronicon".

The Mystichronicon is a book on mysticism, first written in the 100s by a historian in Rome, and the next version continued in the 140s after his death by a priest in Mediolanum. Other versions are written by magic historians, but the most famous example was written in the year 1759 by Walter Goodall after publishing his version of the Scotichronicon. One of the spells allows you to see who wants magic.

Usually the creatures see who doesn't have magic by casting the spell, like a poor peasant or a homeless person. But this year? It chose an average person named "January".

The creatures wanted to surprise January, and so they did. January does want to find out, though.
