You looked at me in a way that I didn't understand. I couldn't decide if you felt grief or sorrow. Maybe something else that I didn't understand. Were you the cat that finally heard me? I could never find proper words To tell you how much I miss you And all the little things you had; First, the way you saw this world Through your sad ocean eyes. PS! In this collection, I touch on many serious topics like suicide, death, grief, trauma, heartbreak, depression, and even religion, so read on your terms, but take it as a warning if you can't handle those things in poems.
