Zoey has been meeting Mystery in secret, even knowing that he is a demon. Although it pains her to keep secrets from her friends, she is afraid of what they'll say. She finds him interesting and he listens to her constant yapping.

Mystery has never really cared deeply for anyone before. Until he meets Zoey. Her cheerful personality brightens his day, and he finds himself opening up to her, more than he's ever done with anyone else.

As the Idol Awards grow closer, so do Zoey & Mystery. But the battle between hunters and demons is imminent, and Zoey doesn't want to hurt him.
