Sanemi Shinazugawa, newly appointed Hashira, was sent to investigate. It should have been routine; observe, report, and slay whatever threat lingered in the shadows.
But the mountains whispered another fate.
There, in the silence of a snow-laden forest, he found her. A girl with eyes sharp as a blade and a presence as cold and untouchable as the winter moon. She fought alone, surviving where no one else could, her sword moving with a strength that rivaled even a Hashira's, and nothing about his duty will ever be the same again.
