"Take her," she whispered, not daring to look at him. "Run. Don't stop, no matter what you hear. Get her to the Lees and head west. Do you understand me, Chan? Don't look back."

The sun still rose, but its light never reached them.
The cows bellowed-not with life, but with hunger.
Gangs roamed every street, every shadow.

At nineteen, Christopher Bang knew District 43 better than anyone: the empty fields, the fading sky, and the people clinging to survival. He thought he'd seen it all.

Until one choice changes everything.

Now, with seven friends caught in the storm, Christopher must face the truth: running may be their only chance at freedom. But what waits at the end of the road could cost them more than they ever imagined.

However, I was a kid when I wrote this so take it with a grain of salt. *** Like a deer in head lights, I freeze and watch as the car comes towards me expecting to get hit. But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."

Before I could react, Minho pressed me against the wall, his hands firmly gripping my hips as he closed the distance between us. My breath hitched in my throat as Minho traced water droplets along my abs and pecs, sending shivers down my spine. His lavender eyes bore into mine, a silent warning conveyed through their intense gaze. "Hwang, don't start a game you can't finish!!" Minho's voice was low, his words sending a thrill down my spine. It was unlike his usual endearments-no princess, no jinnie, no Hyunjin. In that moment, I knew I had crossed a line. [ DISCONTINUED / UNFINISHED STORY ⚠️]

Pretty Little Prey || Jisung x Skz

33 parts Complete

Jisung was seventeen, alone, and working nights in a dim Seoul bar where no one asked about his past. Born in Thailand. Parents gone at three. Moved to England at fourteen with his older siblings-his whole world. Then, in the same cruel month, his brother died in a crash, and his sister took her own life. He ran. To Korea. To nowhere, really. Then they walked in. Seven alphas. Close. Controlled. Quietly powerful. They didn't flirt. Didn't hover. But they noticed him-and kept noticing. One always left a warm drink. One always asked if he'd eaten. One never took his eyes off Jisung, but never made a move. They didn't ask what he was. But they knew. And somehow, without trying, they made him feel... safe. He didn't trust it. Not yet. But part of him-some small, aching part-wanted to stop running.
