📖 Summary
The world ended in blood, death, and fire. Ava Monroe - tall, blonde, curvy, once a soldier and now a doctor - never thought her path would cross with Rick Grimes, the man she saved in the hospital the night the world fell apart. From the moment he opened his eyes, she became tied to his fight for survival.
But Rick wasn't the only one drawn to her. The Dixon brothers - Merle with his dangerous charm and Daryl with his quiet fire - both found something in Ava worth fighting for. And Lori, bitter and jealous, will do anything to tear Ava down.
This story follows the same events as the TV show - every walker, every bloody battle, every loss. Nothing is skipped. But with Ava in the group, everything changes. Love, loyalty, jealousy, betrayal... and when Ava discovers she's pregnant, survival takes on a whole new meaning. Protecting her baby and the people she loves in a broken world will push her beyond every limit.

(Based on the show "The Walking Dead") Serina Rose Williams lives a very mundane and happy life. She lives with her motherly sister Lori, overprotective brother in law Rick, and adorable nephew Carl. If it were up to her, she would want to live her whole life like this, happy and close with her family. However, it would appear that life seemed to have other plans for her. for she receives news that the only brother she has in her life, Rick was shot in the line of duty , and had entered a comatose state. Heartbroken, and grief stricken, Serina is not at all prepared when the world decides to end, only three months later. With no choice, Serina has to leave the only home she's ever known, and flee the city along with her sister, nephew, and her brother in law's best friend. They set up camp and try their best to live a peaceful life whilst the world as they know it, succumb to the walking dead. Serina must accept the rules of survival in this new world, while trying to protect her family, and withholding the morals she had in her owl world. I picked up every article of clothing as I heard the water streaming from behind the curtains. Folding her clothes near where she kept her shoes, I stripped off my clothes and stepped into the shower with her. My hands wrapped around her waist, as I stuck my face in the crook of her neck. I started to do a trail of kisses up to the back of the ear. The tension on her shoulders started to break slowly as I kissed each inch of her skin. I'd been so worried about how she is mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. She jumped into action immediately after, coming with me to get formula, and didn't stop until we got back to our mattress.
